Job Description
The position, Painter B, is responsible for mixing and applying epoxy and urethane coatings to protect exterior surfaces of commercial vehicles and parts.
Essential Functions- Inspect all parts and units to be painted.
- Apply Class B and C paint to commercial vehicles and parts.
- Repair minor flaws and paint defects by wet sanding and buffing.
- Clean and maintain paint booth.
- Clean and maintain paint guns.
- Complete rework as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
- Sense of sound required.
- Sense of balance required.
- Limb and finger dexterity required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to perform twisting, turning, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling motions.
- Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
- Ability to wear PPE – steel–toe shoes, safety glasses, vest.
Working conditions will be inside and outside where temperatures will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold for extended periods. This position is regularly exposed to vibration and loud noises.
