Job Description

The Repair Assembler works in a production environment to assemble and repair mechanical and electrical components, with a focus on HVAC parts. This role involves general production work, precise assembly tasks, and the use of hand tools and technical documentation to ensure high-quality, reliable products.

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of components according to specifications and work instructions.

• Carry out repair and rework of electrical and mechanical parts, particularly HVAC components, to restore them to proper working condition.

• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively during assembly and repair tasks.

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to complete assembly and repair work accurately.

• Inspect parts and assemblies for defects or nonconformities and take appropriate corrective actions.

• Follow standard operating procedures and production guidelines to meet quality, safety, and productivity requirements.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in a clean, climate-controlled production facility.

• Collaborate with team members and production staff to meet daily output and quality targets.

• Handle materials and components carefully to prevent damage and ensure accurate assembly.

• Document work performed as required by production and repair processes.

• Hands-on experience with repair assembly tasks in a production or similar environment.

• Proficiency in mechanical assembly using hand tools and basic power tools.

• Experience with electrical assembly and repair of electrical components.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Knowledge of HVAC components and their basic function within assemblies.

• Previous experience working in manufacturing environments.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

• Ability to work effectively in a production setting and meet output goals.

• Experience assembling or repairing HVAC-related products or systems.

• Familiarity with general production workflows and quality checks.

• Comfort working with both mechanical and basic electrical components.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.

• Strong problem-solving skills when diagnosing and repairing components.

This role is based in a clean, climate-controlled production facility designed to support precision assembly and repair work. You will work on a production floor using hand tools and basic equipment to assemble and repair mechanical and electrical components, including HVAC parts. The environment prioritizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety practices, providing a comfortable and controlled setting for focused, hands‑on work.

This is a Contract position based out of Bradenton, FL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
