Organizes, operates, and supervises the material distribution area and its related functions and systems in an efficient and effective manner. Selects, develops, supervises and evaluates department staff; prepares department records, reports (financial, personnel):
Maintains current written policies and procedures; coordinates the storage and delivery of supplies and equipment on a scheduled basis. Maintains accurate records (inventory); assists with the maintenance of adequate levels of supplies to meet patient care demands; establishing and maintaining quality control standards in the department; assists in the evaluation of supply/equipment as needed and seeing their proper and related functions.
