Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab

Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiograms and stent placements

Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and sterile technique

Monitor hemodynamic status and respond promptly to changes

Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed

Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Valid Florida RN license or compact RN license

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Minimum of 2 years’ Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional cardiology experience
