Manatee Memorial Hospital also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.
The Charge Nurse assumes shift responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct/indirect nursing care to patients, families, and appropriate others under the direct supervision of the Nursing Director for the unit. Coordinates multi‑disciplinary team members, directs and educates other nursing personnel to provide and facilitate optimal health care outcomes in accordance with Manatee Health policies and procedures, standards and philosophy.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
- This opportunity is for a full‑time nights Charge RN position on the Med Surg/Tele unit
- Minimum of one year acute care experience
- Previous supervisory experience, preferred

- ASN, required
- BSN, preferred
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association
- Current NIH Stroke Certification
