Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organizational and time‑management skills while acting as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.

Salary & Schedule Details

• Your starting pay will be $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
• Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
• This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours: 9–12 hours.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day engagement
  :
  Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory inside and outside the Hallmark department. This includes communicating with your supervisor, reporting hours, giving feedback, and completing required surveys. Professional interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.
• Holiday support
  :
  Expect additional days and extended hours around holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may be required to work on the actual holiday or during weekend events.
• Department resets
  :
  Occasionally, you will assist with installations, fixture relocations, and reset of card sections. Teams typically receive notice two weeks in advance, and work may involve evenings or weekends.
• Team support
  :
  As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you will support other team members as needed within your territory.

Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding. You will need to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 30 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, and stand continuously, and may need to climb stairs or ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Read, write, and understand English.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Operate a digital handheld device to read and interpret documents.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores on schedule.
