Sell High-Performance Outboards in a High-Volume, High-Opportunity Dealership
Boater’s World Marine Centers is seeking an experienced and motivated Outboard Motor Sales Consultant to join our high-volume Bradenton, Florida location. This is a specialized sales role focused on helping customers select, configure, and purchase the right outboard engines for their vessels—from repowers to performance upgrades.

You will work closely with our Service, Parts, and Finance teams to deliver seamless, turnkey solutions for customers, from quote to installation to final delivery.
What You’ll Do Customer Consultation & Sales- Consult with boat owners to determine the best outboard solution based on vessel type, usage, and performance goals
- Sell outboard motors from leading manufacturers such as Yamaha, Mercury, and Suzuki
- Provide expert guidance on horsepower, rigging, controls, props, gauges, and accessories
- Build trust through education and transparent recommendations
- Create accurate, complete engine quotes including parts, rigging, and labor
- Coordinate with the Service Department to estimate installation timelines and costs
- Work with the Finance Department to structure payment and financing options
- Own the deal from first contact through post-installation follow-up
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through phone, email, walk-in, and digital leads
- Follow up consistently using the company CRM to move deals forward
- Track opportunities, quotes, and closed deals in the Dealer Management System (DMS)
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience selling or supporting outboard engines, marine parts, or marine service
- Strong working knowledge of outboard brands such as Yamaha, Mercury, and Suzuki
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
- Experience building quotes that include engines, rigging, and installation
- Comfort using CRM and dealership management systems
- Professional, customer-focused communication style
- Self-driven with a strong closing mindset
- High-volume dealership with strong inbound lead flow
- Access to OEM parts, engines, and inventory through Outdoor Network and
- Close collaboration with Service and Parts for fast, accurate deal execution
