We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fire & Security Technician with a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience
. This role combines installing new fire alarm systems with conducting routine inspections of fire and security systems. The successful candidate will work on new construction, renovations, and system upgrade projects, ensuring all work meets the highest quality and compliance standards.
- Install and wire new fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 and manufacturer specifications.
- Mount and connect detection devices, notification appliances, control panels, and related components.
- Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate and compliant installations.
- Install intrusion detection systems, CCTV, and access control equipment to industry standards.
- Configure, program, and test systems for full operational performance.
- Perform routine inspections and functional testing of fire alarm and security systems.
- Document inspection results and identify deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
- Recommend and perform necessary corrective actions.
