• Full-time, permanent
• Employed
• Mostly outpatient + on-call privileges at local hospital.
• Community shared OBGYN call schedule
• FQHC w/ NHSC loan repayment
• Flex Schedules: 8 or 10 hour shifts
• Clinics are outpatient and provide services to rural areas with the underserved population.
• Responsible for providing medical care to women relating to pregnancy or childbirth; responsible for treating, testing, diagnosing and monitoring diseases and provide general care to women.
Job Duties
• Provide care and treatment to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
• Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications to treat patients in accordance with standardized procedures and company policy.
• Perform pap smears, pelvic and breast exams.
• Conduct mood and emotional well-being assessments during post-partum appointment.
• Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel.
• Effectively monitor patients progress throughout treatment plan and care and provide continuous improvement on patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risk of medications prescribed.
• Educate patients on disease prevention and reproductive health.
• Demonstrate effective and detailed written documentation skills.
• Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow up throughout
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with patients.
• Able to multitask and manage assigned projects and tasks as directed.
