Senior Finance Manager

Lead a high-performing finance team delivering complex international financial reporting. Drive technical accounting excellence, strengthen controls, and champion process improvement across a global organisation. About the Client Marks Sattin is working with a major international group to appoint a Senior Finance Manager into its central finance function. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant seeking a senior leadership position within a sophisticated, multinational environment.

You'll oversee financial accounting, reporting, controls, and lead a team of finance professionals. Role Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop the Financial Accounting team. Oversee monthly accounting close and reporting cycles. Maintain strong balance sheet governance, reconciliations and working capital oversight. Manage intercompany, affiliate, fixed asset, inventory and lease accounting processes. Oversee cash, banking and treasury-related accounting. Support group consolidation and monthly reporting to the parent company.

Lead preparation of UK and international statutory accounts. Ensure compliance with SOX, accounting policies and broader governance frameworks. Partner closely with Financial Control, Treasury, Company Secretarial and external auditors. Identify and deliver continuous improvements across processes, controls and reporting. Candidate Profile ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with 3 years PQE. Strong IFRS knowledge; exposure to US GAAP advantageous.

Experience with in a large or complex corporate/group structure. Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background. Experience preparing or auditing UK statutory accounts under IFRS, FRS 101 or FRS 102. Proven experience managing and developing finance teams. Advanced Excel capability. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to challenge and improve processes.
