We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Administrator to join our team at Longfield House.
Located in the friendly village of Clayton in the suburbs of Bradford,
Longfield House is a specialist residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs who may have behaviours that challenge.
Person‑centred planning is at the heart of everything we do and we are able to meet the changing needs of the people we support as they progress through their care pathway, while ensuring their safety is maintained and their independence supported.
Based at Longfield House in Clayton, you will help to keep our essential care teams organised and supported to ensure they are able to provide the highest standards of care to the people who use our services, working Monday to Friday 9‑5.
Main duties of the job- Provide a high standard of organisational & administrative support
- Prepare reports & other written materials to a high standard
- Keep files & records as required
- Work co‑operatively with all other members of the administration team to ensure the department runs smoothly
- Occasional minute taking at meetings & taking notes for meetings as & when required
- Answer the telephone & respond to all enquiries in a friendly, efficient manner

Qualifications and experienceWe are looking for an administrator with experience in health care & knowledge of mental health.
- Flexible, organised, able to prioritise workloads, solve problems & make decisions
- Calm under pressure & can work under your own initiative
- A strong written & verbal communicator with an eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Windows & the internet.
