Operational Support Officer - Bradford
£12.86 per hour, rising to £13.25 after 12 weeks
Temporary, Full-Time (37 hours/week, Monday to Friday)

Our client, a respected public sector organisation, is hiring an Operational Support Officer to join their team in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of justice across England and Wales, supporting court and tribunal services in a fast‑paced environment.

What you'll be doing:
  • Assisting with the preparation and smooth running of court and tribunal hearings, ensuring all documentation and systems are ready.
  • Handling enquiries via face‑to‑face, telephone, email, and digital channels from court users, legal professionals, and partner agencies.
  • Providing clear guidance and support to members of the public, including vulnerable individuals and those with additional needs.
  • Processing casework, maintaining accurate records, and updating internal systems in line with procedures and data protection standards.
  • Managing legal documents, correspondence, hearing notices, and administrative tasks to support case progression.
  • Supporting scheduling, listings, jury administration, and other operational activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, judicial office holders, and external stakeholders to provide a professional and effective service.
  • Responding professionally to sensitive situations and escalating issues when necessary.
What you'll bring:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems.

Previous experience in administration or the public sector is desirable but not essential.
