Position: Senior Planner (Permanent)
Senior Construction Planner

Location:

Bingley (Head Office based with site and project travel)
Salary:
Up to £75,000 per annum DOE + car allowance + benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

A well-established main contractor is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Construction Planner to support both tender-stage and live construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a planner looking to work on a varied portfolio of refurbishment and new-build schemes with a stable and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

* Produce fully logic-linked programmes covering design, procurement, construction and commissioning

* Prepare tender-stage planning documentation including logistics plans, phasing diagrams and method statements

* Support bid submissions and attend tender and settlement meetings

* Work closely with pre-construction, operations and supply chain teams to optimise construction methodology and sequencing

* Provide programme support to project managers, including site-based planning and progress reporting

* Identify programme risks, manage change and update risk registers

* Produce planning visuals and reports for internal and client use

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a construction planning role

* Proficient in Asta Power project and Microsoft Project

* Experience working on multi-disciplinary construction projects

* Background in refurbishment and new-build projects across industrial, commercial, retail or education sectors

* Strong understanding of construction processes, programme control and planning best practice

* Commercially aware with the ability to assess programme impacts

* Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work with minimal supervision

* Full UK driving licence

Salary & Benefits

* Up to £75,000 basic salary

* £6,000 car allowance
