Assistant Site Manager

If so, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our Construction team, working with external partners and subcontractors while collaborating closely with our on‑site Sales team.

To be considered you should share our Gleeson Values of being Passionate, Collaborative and Respectful, and have previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on high‑volume new build housing developments.

We're looking for proactive people who genuinely believe in what we do—building homes and changing lives. You will be a collaborative leader, positively influencing teams and communicating effectively across departments both on and off‑site. You’ll reinforce directions set by the Site and Contracts Manager, helping deliver the development safely and on schedule – leading by example.

• Ensuring the safe running of the site – enforcing Home Safe procedures, maintaining detail orientation and proactively ensuring compliance.
• Supporting the management of onsite construction and customer care responsibilities.
• Ensuring effective compliance, control and deployment of construction and onsite customer care activities per company policies, managing defects post‑completion in a timely manner to deliver 5
  * customer satisfaction.
• Liaising with all stakeholders and suppliers, both internal and external.
• Maintaining and establishing relationships, including engagement with local communities to further push the Gleeson model.
• Using Zutec and Digital Plot Books.
