About

The Role

As Creative Manager at FGH, you will help shape and deliver the creative vision across FGH’s brands, including Freemans and Kaleidoscope. You will lead and inspire a team of creatives to produce innovative, integrated campaigns that strengthen brand perception, engage our customers, and drive commercial performance.

You will have a strong understanding of fully integrated, platform-first content creation, ensuring ideas work hard across both online and offline touchpoints. From concept through to execution, you will champion clear messaging, high creative standards, and consistent brand storytelling.

Working closely with the Head of Creative, you will build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, and partner with channel owners to balance creative ambition with commercial objectives. You’ll bring curiosity, energy and creative excellence to everything you do, helping to push our brands forward and raise the bar across the team.

Accountabilities Campaign Leadership & Execution
  • Lead the end-to-end creative development of multi-channel campaigns, from initial concept through to final execution
  • Partner closely with internal teams including Marketing, Social (Paid & Organic), E-commerce and CRM to push briefs further and deliver hard-working, insight-led creative solutions
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content across all channels, including digital, social, print and on-site
  • Be hand‑on, using your design skills to create mock‑ups and presentations to best communicate ideas
  • Work collaboratively with the Campaign team to ensure projects are delivered on time, on brief and to a consistently high standard
  • Take the lead on shoots to ensure the creative vision is coming to life on set, and all necessary formats are being captured across stills and motion
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, inspire and motivate a creative team to deliver high-quality content across fashion, home and lifestyle categories
  • Review and evaluate creative performance across online and offline channels, identifying opportunities to improve clarity, effectiveness and impact
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders and brief owners across the business, including Marketing, Buying and Merchandising
  • Partner closely with Marketing teams to ensure briefs are clearly understood, strategically interpreted and delivered to a high standard
  • Act as a trusted creative partner, balancing commercial objectives with creative ambition, and ensuring all output aligns with our brand's positioning
  • Liaise with external suppliers and maintain positive working relationships
Industry & Market Insight
  • Stay ahead of market trends, consumer behaviours, and competitor activities within the fashion, home, beauty and lifestyle sectors
  • Demonstrate an in‑depth understanding of our customer, and keep them at the forefront of every brief and creative response
  • Have a clear view and understanding of emerging digital technologies such as AI and how they can be integrated into processes to elevate ways of working
  • Be mindful of production costs and budgets when suggesting creative solutions
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Financial Service regulations, Company Policies and FCA Conduct Rules, escalating any concerns prior to creative delivery
Team Management
  • Mentor and empower the creative team to push ideas further, challenge themselves and deliver excellent creative they can be proud of
  • Set clear SMART objectives for direct reports, providing ongoing coaching, constructive feedback and development support
  • Manage performance effectively, including having constructive and timely difficult conversations when required
  • Demonstrate behaviours aligned with Company values at all times
  • Take reasonable care for your own health and safety, and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work
About You
  • Proven technical and creative experience within fashion and/or lifestyle
  • Expertise in creative ideation, campaign development, art direction and design
