Are you an ambitious reporter with a passion for digital journalism and a keen eye for compelling stories?

The Telegraph & Argus in Bradford is seeking a talented journalist to join our team covering one of the UK’s busiest news patches.

Key Responsibilities

You will work across communities in Bradford, using traditional reporting skills along with cutting‑edge bespoke AI tools to create impactful journalism and deliver high‑quality content for our daily and weekly titles, as well as the T&A’s ever‑growing online audiences.

You will also have special responsibility for covering Keighley – the largest town in the Bradford district – and providing stories for the Keighley News.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about both journalism and technology.

Your role will involve sourcing, selecting, and shaping stories using audience and content analytics, managing live blogs on breaking incidents, and uncovering hidden narratives in our communities.

You’ll ensure every article meets the highest standards of accuracy, media law compliance, and respect for privacy, blending journalistic expertise with innovative AI tools.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Outstanding trainees (with NCTJ prelims, including shorthand) and experienced reporters are welcome to apply.

A driving licence is essential.
