Hourly Rate: £14.43 – £16.16

We are seeking a compassionate, patient and dedicated One-to-One Support Assistant to work closely with young people who require additional behavioural support, particularly those with ADHD. This role involves working 1:1, helping students manage emotional regulation, supporting their learning and development, and contributing to positive engagement throughout the school day. The position is full-time during term-time only, with the potential to become permanent.

The successful candidate will support behaviour management strategies, build positive working relationships, promote independence, maintain accurate progress records and work collaboratively with internal staff, parents/carers and external agencies.

Your role will be to provide consistency, structure and encouragement to help young people thrive both personally and academically.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to young people with ADHD / behavioural needs.
Facilitate positive behaviour and support emotional regulation.
Support learning, social and life-skills development.
Work collaboratively with staff, external agencies and parents/carers when needed.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress/future-planning.
Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and the Units values and policies at all times.
