Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work on a supply basis across a range of primary schools in Bradford.

The Role

As a valued member of the school team, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering planned lessons and covering classes in the absence of the class teacher
Providing high-quality classroom support across KS1 and KS2
Leading targeted interventions for individuals and small groups
Supporting lesson planning, preparation, and assessment
Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement
Supporting pupils with additional needs to ensure an inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

HLTA status or equivalent qualification - essential
Proven experience working across primary year groups
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Confidence leading whole-class learning
Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
A positive, proactive, and professional approach
