Are you a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs? Do you have the resilience, empathy, and dedication to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and thrive in a nurturing environment?

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream school in Low Moor, Bradford. This is a rewarding opportunity for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work closely with pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support, helping them to engage positively with their education.

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
• Build trusting relationships to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Assist with the delivery of personalised learning plans and therapeutic interventions
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs
• A calm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour management
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA, Team Teach, MAPA) are desirable
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
