What You Will Be Doing- Act as a first point of contact for students on placement, dealing with complaints and resolving complex cases, providing general advice, guidance, information and support.
- Provide information on University regulations or PSRB requirements relating to placements to both students and staff.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of the student records, ensuring that the Student Record System (SITS) and Placements Management System and other associated systems are kept fully up to date in accordance with University processes.
- Provide support and information to academic staff associated with placement delivery, in particular Placement Tutors, including assessed reasons and a rationale to enable decision making where necessary.
- Maintain an administrative overview of all students on placement, ensuring relevant processes are adhered to.
- Support the provision of accurate placement information to the website, including maintaining web pages where required.
- Maintain an administrative overview of all aspects of placements, and support the delivery of key placement management processes.
- Order materials required for placements as required, working with the university financial systems and regulations to complete purchase orders, reconcile and process invoices as needed to ensure outstanding commitments are cleared.
- Undertake all key administrative process associated with placements.
- Experience of working in an administrative role.
- Experience of using a variety of IT packages to a high standard, including word processing packages, spreadsheets and databases.
- Experience of taking minutes and providing information at meetings.
- Experience of understanding and working to a range of established procedures and regulations.
