⭐ About the Role
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Paediatric First Aid Trained Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a welcoming and inclusive school environment in Bradford.
This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate, proactive individual who is passionate about supporting children both academically and with their wellbeing. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to ensure students receive the care, guidance, and learning support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils in the classroom with learning activities and lesson engagement
Provide additional support for pupils with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs
Use your Paediatric First Aid training to respond to minor injuries and wellbeing concerns appropriately
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, behaviour management and classroom organisation
Build positive relationships with students to encourage confidence and engagement in learning
Support the monitoring and recording of student progress and wellbeing
Help maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
✅ Requirements
✔ Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification (essential)
✔ Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ A calm, patient and nurturing approach
✔ Ability to support pupils with varying educational and emotional needs
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
