General Cover Secondary Instructors - Supply (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Location: Bradford & Calderdale
Pay: Daily rate to scale
Contract Type: Supply (Short-Term & Long-Term Opportunities)

Academics are seeking flexible, reliable, and motivated General Cover Secondary Instructors to work on a supply basis across secondary schools in Bradford and Calderdale.

This role involves covering lessons across multiple subjects, supporting students, and ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences. Opportunities are available for both short-term and long-term placements.

• Cover classes across a range of subjects at short notice
• Follow lesson plans provided by the school
• Maintain classroom management and a positive learning environment
• Support students' learning and wellbeing
• Adapt quickly to different year groups and subjects
• Work collaboratively with school staff and departments

• Experience working in secondary schools is preferred
• Ability to teach multiple subjects or support general cover lessons
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Daily pay rate to scale
