Overview
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for tutors in Bradford. At Prospero, we work with local authorities to arrange 1:1 tuition for students accessing alternative provision.

2 hours per week (1 x 2h lesson) - Pay: GBP

30 per hour. - The Role:
English and Maths tuition for a Year 11 student working below ARE. Expected delivery of knowledge: KS2 - KS3. Experience with SEN desired.
The vast majority of our tuition referrals are for English and Maths. A lot of our students are working below expected age range, and the delivery of learning will be at a KS1 - KS3 level.
Where will tutoring take place?- Within schools
- Within public places
- Within students homes
- At all of the above locations, there will always be an appropriate adult present for your tuition sessions (the student’s parent, carer, or guardian).
Tuition sessions occur within school hours, 9am-4pm, and our clients are flexible on timings. When a role becomes available, we will contact you as the tutor to set suitable hours.
What qualifications do you need?With our tuition roles, you do not need to be a qualified teacher. We usually ask that you have some form of higher education. Candidates should also have some prior experience within education; at least 4 months working in a school or educational setting (e.g., as a teacher, teaching assistant, or in a pastoral or support role).

Our registration process ensures that we are following safer recruitment guidelines and safeguarding the students we work with. Below are the minimum documents you will need to get registered with us:
- Hold Right to Work within the UK (we cannot register people with Sponsorship Visas).
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (recommended but not required; you can apply for a DBS through us).
- References covering 2 years (a full 24 months) of employment, including references for any work with children or vulnerable adults within the last two years.
