About the roleThis is a full‑time, temp‑to‑perm position starting in September 2026. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well‑planned Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, maintaining high expectations for behaviour, and creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive.
The school is committed to developing confident, resilient, and well‑rounded young people through a broad and balanced curriculum. As such, they are seeking a dynamic teacher who can adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities and inspire a passion for food, nutrition, and practical skills.

The ideal candidate- Extensive experience teaching Food Technology at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level
- Strong classroom teaching background with excellent subject knowledge
- Ability to deliver engaging practical and theory‑based lessons
- Available for interview and observation
- Committed and proactive in engaging and motivating students
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passionate about raising attainment and supporting student progress
