About the role

Justteachers are seeking a creative, confident, and inspiring Drama Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Bradford area. This full‑time position is to start immediately and will run until the end of the academic year, offering an exciting opportunity to bring the performing arts to life for students across the school.

This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and enthusiastic ECTs with a passion for Drama and performance.

• Deliver engaging and imaginative Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum expectations
• Encourage creativity, confidence, and self‑expression in students
• Direct and support practical performance work, rehearsals, and group activities
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes participation
• Track pupil progress and provide constructive, supportive feedback
• Maintain strong behaviour management and uphold safeguarding responsibilities
• Contribute to departmental planning, school productions, and wider school life

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Drama at KS3–KS4
• Experience working in UK secondary schools (ECTs welcome)
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Justteachers
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
