Maths Teacher

About the role:

A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Bradford is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join their team from September 2026
. This full‑time role is for the full academic year to cover a maternity leave and offers an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and well‑resourced Maths department.

• Deliver high‑quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with KS5 desirable but not essential).
• Plan engaging and well‑structured lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Support pupils of mixed abilities, ensuring progress and positive learning outcomes.
• Work closely with the wider Maths department to ensure consistency and continuity of learning.
• Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, providing clear feedback to support improvement.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and classroom management.
• Contribute positively to the ethos and wider life of the school.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent).
• Have experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education.
• Be confident delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Have good behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Be reliable, organised, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils.
