Operating in a third-person capacity, the successful educator will take full ownership of planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential opportunities for Key Stage 5 depending on experience). • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent, recognised UK teaching qualification.
• A current Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
• Deep and up-to-date knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English at Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Exam Preparation:
  Prepare Key Stage 4 students effectively for their upcoming GCSE English Language and Literature examinations.
• Progress Tracking:
  Consistently assess, mark, and record student work, providing constructive feedback to guide their academic development.
• Differentiated Learning:
  Adapt teaching materials to support both high-achieving students and those requiring additional educational support (SEND).
• Classroom Management:
  Implement the school's behaviour policy consistently to maintain a focused, safe, and positive learning atmosphere.
• Form Tutor Duties:
  Act as a Form Tutor, providing pastoral care and guidance to a designated cohort of students.
