Assistant Headteacher: Inclusion & Learning Support

Appleton Academy is seeking an Assistant Headteacher of Inclusion and Learning Support to lead our Inclusive Education strategy and oversee SEND provision.

• Provide strategic leadership for inclusion and SEND, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential
• Promote and embed a clear vision of inclusive education, underpinned by strong knowledge of statutory frameworks and current best practice
• Oversee and quality‑assure SEND provision, including EHCPs and IEPs, ensuring effective, personalised support and strong pupil progress
• Use data and curriculum‑led planning to drive improvement, ensuring effective use of resources and targeted interventions
• Lead, develop and support staff, staying informed on the latest SEND strategies and research to deliver high‑quality learning support
