Psychology Teacher

About the role:

Justteachers are recruiting a passionate and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Bradford. This full‑time role begins immediately and will run through to July, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

• Deliver engaging and well‑structured Psychology lessons at KS4 and KS5.
• Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with curriculum and exam board requirements
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Track, monitor, and report on student attainment and progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to support academic development.
• Contribute to departmental planning, moderation, and curriculum development.
• Support students with exam preparation and revision sessions.
• Attend relevant meetings, CPD sessions, and contribute to the wider school community.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and/or KS5.
• Proven ability to plan, deliver, and assess high‑quality lessons.
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two school‑based references.
