Primary SEND LSA

Yorkshire and Humber / contract / £95 - 105 per day

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Bradford that is looking to appoint a Primary SEND LSA. The school has an inclusive ethos and an excellent SEND provision, ensuring every pupil receives the support they need to achieve their full potential within a nurturing and supportive environment.

The successful Primary SEND LSA will support pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and/or Key Stage 2 / KS2, working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored interventions, promote engagement and encourage positive outcomes for children with additional needs.

• Experience supporting children with SEND within a UK primary school
• A relevant Teaching Assistant or Support qualification is desirable
• Confidence supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and/or Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, caring and proactive approach to supporting learning
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
