About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a welcoming and well‑resourced secondary school in the Bradford area. This is a long‑term position starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and deliver well‑structured MFL lessons aligned with the school curriculum
- Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all learners
- Use a range of teaching strategies to engage students and promote language acquisition
- Provide constructive feedback to support student development
- Attend departmental meetings, training sessions, and whole‑school events where required
- Ensure safeguarding and student welfare remain a top priority at all times
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching French and/or Spanish within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of the MFL curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service
- Two school based references
