Primary SEND LSA

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Bradford that has a dedicated SEND provision. The school is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive, with a supportive leadership team and a strong focus on meeting the needs of all learners.

The school is looking to appoint a Primary SEND LSA on a long-term basis from September. The successful Primary SEND LSA will provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs across KS1 and KS2, working closely with class teachers to promote engagement, independence and positive learning outcomes within both the classroom and the SEND provision.

The successful Primary SEND LSA will have:

Experience supporting children with SEND within a UK primary school
Experience working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting individual learning needs
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
