We’re looking for a compassionate and adaptable SEND Teacher to work in specialist schools and alternative provisions across Wakefield, supporting pupils with additional needs who benefit from structure, patience, and understanding.

• Planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
• Adapting learning to support pupils with ASD, SEMH, PMLD, and complex needs
• Building strong, positive relationships with pupils who need trust and consistency
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and wider school teams
• Creating safe, structured, and engaging learning environments
• Supporting both academic progress and emotional development

• QTS, QTLS, or strong SEND teaching experience
• Experience working within SEND, SEMH, SEN, or specialist education settings preferred
