12 hours 30 minutes per week (2 hours 30 minutes per day)
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks). Ideal to fit around family commitments and other roles we offer. We offer an "annualised" pay scheme so that our staff who work term time receive pay over 52 weeks.
Hourly Rate: £13.45 (Including Real Living Wage Supplement)
We need a motivated and dedicated person who has:
- The ability to build good relationships with adults and children based on mutual respect.
- Knowledge of basic food safety. This would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
- Good communication and people skills.
- The ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
You will need:
- A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility and the willingness to assist with other catering duties.
Job Description
Responsible for assisting the Cook in preparing nutritious and appetising meals whilst ensuring compliance with all aspects of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety. Other duties include setting up and clearing away tables and general cleaning duties.
DBS level
An Enhanced with Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk.
Welsh language level - verbal
Level 2 – You will need a basic level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
