Teacher Active is working with a wide network of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Bradford and is looking to recruit enthusiastic Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) for the new academic year. We have established relationships with schools throughout the area, offering the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of settings while making a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

This is a full-time role starting in September, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 on a day-to-day basis, with the opportunity to secure long-term placements. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom support, work with small groups and individual pupils, and confidently step in to deliver pre-planned lessons when teachers are absent. This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, LSAs and HLTAs who enjoy a varied and rewarding working environment.

The

successful Teaching Assistant will have:
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or relevant classroom experience (HLTAs are encouraged to apply)
  • Experience supporting pupils within UK primary schools
  • Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons and providing classroom cover when required
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working across different school settings
  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting children's learning
