PE Teacher

About the role

Justteachers are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Bradford from September 2026
. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for sport, health, and fitness.

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across a range of sports and activities
• Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies
• Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing within the school community
• Organise and support extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and fixtures
• Encourage participation and inclusion for students of all abilities
• Maintain a safe teaching environment, including risk assessments for activities
• Contribute to department planning and school-wide initiatives
• Uphold strong behaviour management and classroom control

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Strong knowledge of a range of sports and physical activities
• Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
• Strong organisational and teamwork skills
• A passion for promoting sport, fitness, and healthy lifestyles
