General Cover Secondary Instructors - Supply (Full-Time/Part-Time)

Location: Bradford & Calderdale

Pay: Daily rate to scale

Academics are seeking flexible, reliable, and motivated General Cover Secondary Instructors to work on a supply basis across secondary schools in Bradford and Calderdale
. This role involves covering lessons across multiple subjects, supporting students, and ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences. Opportunities are available for both short-term and long-term placements
.

• Cover classes across a range of subjects at short notice
• Follow lesson plans provided by the school
• Maintain classroom management and a positive learning environment
• Support students' learning and wellbeing
• Adapt quickly to different year groups and subjects
• Work collaboratively with school staff and departments

• Experience working in secondary schools is preferred
• Ability to teach multiple subjects or support general cover lessons
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Daily pay rate to scale
