Academics are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Counselling Teacher in Bradford on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher or experienced counselling professional who is passionate about supporting students and helping them develop their knowledge, skills and understanding within the counselling sector.

As a Counselling Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and supportive lessons to college students, helping them develop both their theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of counselling.

• Plan and deliver high-quality counselling lessons
• Support students in developing their knowledge and practical skills
• Create an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Assess and monitor student progress
• Provide constructive feedback and support students to achieve their potential
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the college

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Relevant qualifications and/or professional experience in counselling
• Teaching or training experience within further education is desirable
• A passion for education and supporting young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
