CAD Engineer

Career makers Recruitment are looking for a number of CAD Design Engineer for our ever-growing client based in Bradford, BD5

• Produce 3D CAD models and generate engineering drawings using Solid Works.
• Review in-house project drawings using AutoCAD.
• Progress new designs from concept through to manufacture.
• Revise existing designs and drawings in response to design reviews, engineering change requests, and manufacturing feedback.
• Maintain drawing control and revision history.
• Ensure all designs comply with internal standards and quality procedures.
• Consult internally with sales, engineering, and production to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
• Liaise with suppliers on technical queries and component specifications.
• Assist with prototype builds, inspections, and design validation.
• Support production and installation teams with technical guidance.
• Apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) principles.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Manage own workload to meet project timescales and seek support / report progress to Technical Manager as required.

• Ensure that you remain compliant with health and safety regulations and accepted safe practice at all times.
• Solid Works experience is necessary.
• Carry out other duties as and when required.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure that you implement our equality and diversity policy in all areas of your work.
• Work with all employees within the company in the fulfilment of our aims.

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
