Contract: Full-time (37.5 hrs per week)
Location: Based in Bradford with frequent visits to employers across West Yorkshire, including supporting national clients.
Salary & Benefits:
£34,531 per annum plus £6,000 car allowance and mileage reimbursement
35 days annual leave plus 8 statutory days

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Training Advisor to support apprentices on Level 3 and Level 4 electrical/electronic engineering programmes. The successful candidate will deliver workplace assessments, training, and coaching to help learners develop the practical skills, technical knowledge, and professional behaviours needed to succeed in engineering and manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct workplace assessments in line with apprenticeship standards
Deliver practical and knowledge-based training sessions and provide constructive feedback
Develop individual learning plans, track learner progress, and support preparation for End-Point Assessment (EPA)
Engage with employers to ensure on-the-job training aligns with industry requirements
Maintain accurate records and contribute to internal quality assurance and standardisation activities
Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection policies
Qualifications & Experience:
Recognised assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33 or equivalent) essential
Relevant engineering or manufacturing qualification at Level 3 or above essential
Teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET, or above) desirable
Proven experience assessing and mentoring apprentices or learners in engineering or manufacturing
Strong practical experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, or related disciplines
Familiarity with apprenticeship standards and EPA requirements
Experience in power generation is highly desirable
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent understanding of engineering principles, industry practices, and safety standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage caseloads, plan, and prioritise effectively
Confidence working independently and as part of a team
Commitment to continuous professional development
