A highly respected, UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy is recruiting in the Yorkshire region. They are seeking an experienced and professional Asbestos Surveyor, who has varied experience working across commercial and domestic premises. You will be travelling along the M26 corridor to conduct the full range of asbestos surveys and report any found concerns. Our client has a successful track record and excellent infrastructure in place to offer industry progression and training.

Experience /

Qualifications:

* Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited outfit

* Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent

* Proven technical knowledge, including: HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines

* Strong communicator

* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

* Professional attitude

The Role:

* Carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across commercial and domestic stock

* Conducting re-inspection surveys

* Obtaining ACM samples from site and delivering to the lab for analysis

* Producing detailed technical reports to highlight areas of concern

* Creating floor plans / schematic drawings

* Meeting with clients to communicate survey findings

* Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets

* Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
