Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Reference: 15315A globally recognised manufacturer at the forefront of technically advanced Special Purpose Machinery are searching for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. This company are international leaders in innovate technology and systems in the Industrial Machinery sector.

Reporting directly to the Head of Research & Development, you’ll join an industry leading team, focusing on the R&D and New Product Development of bespoke industrial machines. This is a full life-cycle role, overseeing design projects from initial concept, including detailed engineering & hand calculations, DFMEA studies, FEA analysis, 3D modelling and overseeing your product through the companies state-of-the art manufacturing facility.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience in Special Purpose Machinery / Rotating Equipment / Gearboxes etc.

Complex Precision Equipment - GD&T (BS8888)
FEA Analysis

Experience with Fabrications, Weldments, Castings Material Selection, Machining Methods and Techniques Benefits of this Senior Mechanical Design Role:
