Client Accountant

Recruitment Solutions (NW) Limited have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Client Accountant to join our clients’ supportive finance team. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and high-quality service.

What you’ll be doing

* Managing an allocated portfolio of client accounts

* Preparing standard and client specific financial reports in line with SLAs and KPIs

* Ensuring accurate reconciliation of income and expenditure

* Acting as a key point of contact for client queries and providing informed advice

* Working closely with internal teams to meet all client deliverables

* Maintaining accurate financial data across internal systems

* Supporting with ad hoc finance tasks as required

* Managing client cash flow and funding requirements

* Overseeing annual financial reviews in collaboration with relevant internal teams

* Attending client and internal meetings when needed

* Instructing treasury teams on account amendments, collections and payments

* Managing general client fund activity such as refunds

What we’re looking for

* Experience in a similar client accounting role

* Strong financial and technical reporting skills within a client service environment

* Ability to work effectively in a varied, fast-paced and evolving department

* Willingness to learn and take on professional development opportunities

* Part Qualified ACCA or QBE

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* Ability to work confidently with colleagues at all levels and external clients

* Strong Excel skills and analytical ability

* High accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail

* Positive, professional and proactive approach

* Integrity and a strong ethical mindset
