Position: Temporary Management Accountant (Temporary)
Management Accountant – Bradford - £day rate equivalent)

Axon Moore are delighted to be working in collaboration with a leading Bradford based manufacturing organisation as they look to recruit for a Management Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis.

Confidence and excellent communication skills are essential as you will work closely with senior management delivering ad-hoc analysis in a business partnering capacity. A solid accounting background is required as are strong analytical skills in order to investigate, understand and explain variances and overall business performance.

THE JOB:

Preparation of the monthly management accounts
Accruals, prepayments and P & L analysis
Report on variances
Review all balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly reconciliations.
Manage intercompany recharges and balances.
Preparation of the monthly finance pack, providing insightful commentary for internal stakeholders
Leading month end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments and fixed assets.
Business partnering with internal stakeholders, attending regular meetings to review budgets, variances and guidance.
Supporting and leading on any systems and process improvements
Support the Financial Controller with ad hoc projects.
Support year end Audit and VAT reporting.
ONS reporting
Stock reporting

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS /

SKILLS:

Previous experience of producing management accounts
Excellent IT skills
Strong attention to detail
