Commercial Accountant

Marks Sattin is delighted to be working with a high-profile UK organisation to recruit a Commercial Accountant for their Bradford office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking business and play a key role in driving commercial performance and strategic decision-making.

As Commercial Accountant, you'll work closely with the Commercial and Finance teams, providing insight and challenge to optimise decision-making. This is a highly commercial role, combining financial analysis with strategic input to support both short-term performance and long-term growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a trusted partner to the Commercial team and senior stakeholders, building strong relationships and influencing decisions.
• Supporting new business tenders and coordinating briefs across Finance and Commercial.
• Leading on forecasting and reporting
  , including budgets, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Preparing and presenting periodic performance reviews and financial packs.
• Analysing promotional performance and ROI, advising on commercial activity.
• Developing financial models and reporting tools, including advanced use of Power BI
  .
• Driving process improvements and supporting procurement and value engineering projects.

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with a strong track record in commercial finance.
• Highly analytical with advanced Excel skills and experience in Power BI
  .
• Commercially astute with the ability to challenge and influence decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage non-financial stakeholders.
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines and implementing change where needed.
