Assistant Management Accountant – Bradford – Up to £35,000 + Study Support

A growing manufacturing business in Bradford is looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to support its expanding finance function. This role is ideal for someone who is early in their accounting career and keen to gain practical experience while working towards a professional qualification.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and hands‑on finance team, where you’ll be given exposure to core management accounting processes and the opportunity to develop your skills in a commercial environment.

• Supporting the production of monthly management accounts
• Processing journals, including accruals and prepayments
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
• Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
• Preparing variance analysis and financial reports
• Supporting audit activity and year-end processes
• Assisting with process improvements and finance administration

• Studying or planning to study AAT, CIMA, or ACCA (study support available)
• Previous experience in a finance or accounts‑based role
• Manufacturing or product‑based business experience advantageous but not required
• Strong Excel skills and confidence using finance systems
• Detail‑oriented, organised, and motivated to progress

• Salary up to £35,000, dependent on experience
