Legal Cashier

Reed Accountancy are proud to be partnering with a firm based in Bradford to recruit a Legal Cashier. This is a full-time, office-based opportunity where the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the firm's financial transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.

This role offers clear progression opportunities, with an immediate start available.

Responsibilities:

• Processing daily receipts and payments through the bank
• Handling cash and cheque transactions, including preparing deposits for banking
• Liaising with clients when receiving payments via cash, cheque, or card
• Carrying out daily bank reconciliations for both client and office accounts
• Processing bills, including any required transfers
• Monitoring and managing client and office account balances
• Processing and arranging payment of supplier invoices

You will need to demonstrate:

• Experience with in a similar position
• Working knowledge of Solicitor Accounts and VAT Rules
• High level of attention to detail
• ILDM qualified (desirable)
• Self-motivated and able to organise own work
• Good time management and a flexible approach to work.
