Reporting to the MD, the successful applicant will immediately be a key part of the Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate must be capable of operating commercially within a fast-moving operational business, helping drive the next stage of growth.

• Translate operational performance into financial insight
• Strengthen forecasting and reporting capability
• Improve commercial decision‑making
• Support investor readiness
• Challenge constructively at senior level
• Help reduce dependency on the MD for strategic financial interpretation

• Cashflow forecasting and scenario modelling
• Financial strategy and planning
• Investor and board reporting
• Financial risk management
• Managing banking and funding relationships

• Labour productivity insights
• Improving operational efficiencies
• Analysis of client profitability, margins and WIP

• Leading and developing the finance function
• Improving MI and reporting
• Improving controls and reporting standards
• Introducing scalable systems

This role suits a commercially minded SME Finance Director or strong Financial Controller ready to step up. Someone who is "hands‑on" and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment. Applicants must be strong communicators, enjoy collaborating with colleagues across the business and have a desire to be part of this exciting growth journey.
