Financial Accountant

We are partnering with a global, private equity-backed logistics business headquartered in Bradford to recruit a Financial Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑paced, high‑growth organisation with an international footprint, offering strong exposure to statutory accounting and external reporting within a dynamic environment.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely statutory accounts across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and supporting the wider finance function.

• Preparation of statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS
• Supporting the year‑end audit process and liaising with external auditors
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements
• Assisting with month‑end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting processes
• Working closely with stakeholders across finance and the wider business

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or part qualified
• Experience in accountancy practice is advantageous
• Background within audit or accounts preparation is essential
• Strong understanding of statutory accounting and financial reporting requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and technical accounting knowledge
• Strong communication skills with ability to build relationships across the business
• Proactive approach and desire to learn, develop and take ownership
