Bookkeeper

A construction group based near Bradford is seeking a Part Time AAT Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their finance team.

This role offers an opportunity for a detail-oriented professional-ideally AAT qualified or part-qualified-to take on a hands-on position supporting the day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily finance and governance activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Maintain accurate records and uphold data integrity within financial systems
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial workflows
• Process weekly payroll
• Prepare monthly journals, including prepayments and accruals
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage CIS returns and quarterly VAT submissions

Key Skills & Attributes

• Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail
• A collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
